| DUTIES: | Assemble packages and produce drawing sets which are then checked by the Design Manager. Discuss jobs with sales staff and other personnel to resolve problems. Draft working drawings, plot plans, roof layouts, wiring diagrams, electrical elevations, & other detail sheets, as required for instructions to installation crew. Draw to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing equipment and exact specifications and dimensions. Measure factors that affect installation and arrangement of equipment. Study work order requests to determine job scope. Visit proposed installation sites and draw rough sketches of existing conditions. Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary. Review completed construction drawings for accuracy and conformity to standards and regulations. Use computer-aided drafting equipment, Microsoft office, technical handbooks, tables, calculators, tape measure, and other tools as needed. |
| QUALIFICATION: | Have the ability to multi-task and manage time with multiple projects. Good oral and written communication skills. Flexibility to work independently on some projects while also working as an integrated team member on other projects. |
